Yukon Solitaire: what to know before playing

For a calm first round, focus on one decision. Build four suit foundations from ace to king. Select cards directly on the tableau and work through a full solo deal. Check the relevant controls before continuing. Use the rule sheet as a reference. Build down in alternating colours. Any face-up card carries all cards below it, even when unordered. Kings fill empty columns. Return to the explanation when a decision is unclear.

One deck, no stock, Yukon deal. Free solo play, no wagering.

Build familiarity through play

Treat this as a chance to practise one rule. Select a face-up card and then the destination pile or Empty slot. The same rule applies on a phone and on a computer.

A red 6 carrying an unordered tail can move onto a black 7. Use another round to revisit a decision.

Pay attention to this rule

Before making a move, check the cards in view. Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. Take the next action only when the current step is clear.
